Default Buying a new system tonight need soem suggestions on sound card etc.

Hello I am building a 650 bucks desktop pc which include the:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128358
motherboard

I haven't used onboard sound for ages but i heard a friend of mien tell me nowadays its pretty good is this true? I have a set of logitech Z-5500 speakers and sound is just as important to me as anything else because to me its nice to hear surround while playing games and after comparing my friends build with a xfi prelude and my other friends onboard it was like night and day humongous difference movies games music sound spectacular.

I sold all the parts of my old system except my audigy 2 zs sound card which was very nice to me for a long time but i was wondering if it can be used on a windows vista 64 bit system? i heard a lot of people tell me it wont work etc but i was curious if its possible to save some money and use my old sound card. will onboard be better than my old Zs sound card?

What sound card do you guys recommend for someone who games watches a lot of movies on destop but not too expensive. I had a Asus xonar d2x but sold it because i needed the money and its shameful for me to admit it but the sound card configuration its too advanced for me i barely tweaked it and i knew my money was going to waste if i didn't fully utilize the sound card potential.

By the way i have atmost budget of 135 dollars for sound card aside from the 650 i am wasting on my system any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Onboard sound card are really good.I would not buy new sound card right now.
Put this 650+135 for pc and then after you save some cash, buy sound card if you won't be pleased.

PC:
e8400-e8500 or q9550
4850/4870
2x2 GB ddr2 ram(i recommend ballistix or Teamgroup)
Antec 300 case
Corsair tx650 power supply, fits perfect in antec 300 and has a lot of potential,
Sata2 Seagate F1 disc, chose the capacity you need.
