Another vote for the A900 if you want to use them without an amplifier

I'm sorry to bust your bubble but you are an amateur in the world of headphones. If someone has $200 to spend, the LAST thing you recommend is a set of trash cans like BOSE on-ear headphones...

I don't want to rag on you so I just advise you to look outside of the mainstream marketing tunnel. Hang around the OCN Headphone Club long enough and you will be quickly converted. Those BLOSE will be on the FS Forum within a week.
Cool, I agree with you, I never said I was an expert. But in my experience, Bose was the best sounding. Have to admit I never owned the headphones listed in the OP's initial post.

Although not sure one should thumb their nose just because Bose is a well known brand name. While I'm ready to admit I never tested Bose side by side with those mentioned in this post, you've never quite came out and actually said you compared them either.

Trust me though, I will take your advise, and next time I need headphones I will ask the experts here.

Although, one always has to keep and open mind and not put on blinders by labeling something "mainstream". Many mainstream brand names make the best products in their field.

Little Dot has a tube/SS hybrid that costs less than $150. (The I+)

I should've mentioned that BOSE is out of the question. My friend bought really expensive Bose headphones that look exactly like Bose On-Ear Headphones..I don't know how much they cost him but he said they were expensive. I listened to some hip-hop on his computer ( All he had ) and it sounded good but nothing great.. I do not like Bose, I've also listened to them at circuit city and best buy,

System: Piece of no good Mmhmm.

Ultrasone HFI 750 if you can stretch your budget a bit.
If your computer isn't TOO loud you could try some Grados.
