Default Controlling Speakers or Receiver with a PC

Ok so i have a pair of 2 ft tall Pioneer speakers hooked up to an old receiver in our beer pong room. I have a cable that goes into the receiver that we plug an mp3 player into, and that works great. My room is behind the wall that the speakers and receiver are on, and there is also a door on that wall that goes from the beer pong room into my room.

Now how can i control those speakers from my computer? We had some random people no one knew at our party last night and my roommates iPod got stolen. One of my friends plugged my Zune in and her ipod was sitting there and i think it got stolen shortly thereafter. Also, it will be nice so people don't mess with the music and i have to yell at them. Thanks for any help.

Yeah , get an RCA to mini cable , plug the RCA end (Red and White) into the receiver, and the mini end into the headphone jack(green?) or looking at it straight on the 3rd one of the 4 holes.

The RCA one should be on CD so switch to CD on the receiver and BAM you have sound.

Sorry about your friends' ipods.
