you have to enable the advanced feature in the audio mixer.

bring up windows audio mixer hit options then advanced controlls then under mic it should have a button saying advanced and it should say mic 1 boost

How do u do this in vista because i have the mic boost option on other devices in the recording control panel applet just not the sound blaster audigy se device that my microphone is configured to.
