Default razer barracuda audio card and headset
I jsut got these RMA and got a new pair but now I barely hear any sound at all I have all of the sound maxed in windows also in games I play.I have the volume on max on the headset and I barely hear anything. I did a sound test in windows and since these can be 7.1 I tested it like that. Well when I did the back speaker worked and the front center speaker worked no the side or the front left and right!?!?!??! Do I need to RMA these now??

Please help me!

Is the headset plugged in all the way? I know it's a strange connection for a soundcard/headset.

I have both of these, but I only use the headset.

I'd try setting the speaker setup to 5.1 instead of 7.1

I did and figured out the problem seem to be on my part.

Really? What was wrong? I'm somewhat interested

I really want to justify myself buying that sound card by using it, but I just can't get the bass that compares to my X-Fi

It's a great card. I don't think you'd regret buying it. It can be found for considerably less than the retail price if you look around enough.
