What are your recommendations, guys? I'm only going to be running a 2.1 setup, but I'd like something distinctly better than onboard. Thanks!

Seconded. It's an absolute steal at $65 and has $200 sound card music quality. Just not that great for gaming.

great card for quality sound, if you have some good speakers that is, what will count in all cases, i use one myself.
