Default Which Headphones ?

Hey, im getting a pair of headphones soon (Price under $40)
I've seen these two:
Genius HS-04V
Genius HP-04 Live
-------------------
Questions:
Has anyone tried these?
Is the HS-04V's microphone detatchable?
-------------------
I like the HP-04 more, as it doesnt have a mic and stuff

I will be using heaphones for:
Gaming (Possibly chatting), Music, Videos, and Skating.
Will the HP-04 hold on?

Owned a pair of refurbs of those, good headphones for the money (though I picked mine up for $4!) The mic died out after a few months but the headphones themselves still are kicking 2 years later.
