I'm not sure about the EQ, only necessary if you have crappy speakers. But the noise sharpening is a sure winner!

Using an EQ isn't just about speakers, but the environment and speaker placement as well. Otherwise people with high-end systems wouldn't use them. And if you have some hearing loss like I do a boost in certain frequencies can make a difference.

Same here, this to be more exact - this version works with latest Foobar2000 Build + Skip Silence, but that's only for playback effect.
