Default I need Full 5.1 surround!
hey every one i need a bit of help please. im using Realtek HD drivers for my Nvidia Nforce 780i motherboard but it wont allow 5.1 surround sound through my Logitech Z550 speakers,, Im connecting using the green cable into the appropriate socket and no luck, front 2 speaker work but that’s it, issue seems to be there with all games etc aswell, is it worth upgrading to xi-fi?

please help as i need to be imersed in full 5.1 audio to enjoy my games LOL. just kidding but it makes a massive difference.

You need to connect the other speakers also, which would be the gray or black and orange wires.

its not working because the green plug only outputs stereo sound
you need to plug the other plugs into your sound card to get full 5.1 to work.

did you set the switch behind the sound touch to 6ch?
