Default Supreme FX II sound and Mic issues...

Hey everyone. I just reformatted my computer and got everything going, but when I go to install my soundmax audio drivers for my Supreme FX II sound card, I cant seem to get my mic to work and sometimes the sounds cuts out. Nothing is muted in control panel and I know its not my headset either. I was wondering if there are better drivers out now that I can download. Im thinking maybe the drivers that came with this are glitchy or bad. Any help or if someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated :O ++ rep for suggestions or link for a download
