Default rate these two 5.1 systems.

Please help me out here....

Okay. My Monitor has audio Coaxial out. It does not have Optical output. But... my PS3 does. If I go with the samsung (bottom option), I will only get 5.1 from my PS3, games, Blurays and DVD's.

RCA 1000 Watts.
5.1
HAS Digital Coaxial
HAS Digital Optical

THIS Samsung, is also 1000 watts
5.1
Doesn't have Digital Coaxial - Can't take audio out from TV
HAS Optical - Can connect to PS3
And yeah it plays DVD's but I can't fit the HDMI connector into my TV. I just want this as a receiver. Not a DVD player for now anyway.

The RCA does exactly what I want it to do, but everyone says RCA is a trash brand... Is this thing gonna sound like crap?

PS. I got the Samsung for a mere $150 on a black friday sale. I am not willing to buy converters to go from optical to digital unless someone can show me one for $5.00.

For the price, I'd go for the wally world one. That's a pretty sweet deal IMO.
