I'm not interested in vinyls or CDs, digital only for me

Yeah I got plenty of space for tracks. (I think)

There are a few types of lossless music, .flac, .ogg, .wav

They are each about 30(ish) MB per song, and around 10 - 15 songs in an album, so you do the math

You have to have the right codec to play it in wmp but I think that winamp nativley plays flacs.

foobar 2000 for all your flac playing needs sir. Depending on what sound card you have (or not), make sure you grab some form of asio (such as asio4all or asio plugin for creative cards)
