Rachmaninoff's Third Concerto or Piano Sonata in G along with some Beethoven if we wanna get specific though. EDIT: Whatever you do, don't test them on youtube videos.

Before anything else make sure you like whatever it is you're listening to. I couldn't care less if a brilliant audio engineer listened to death metal, I still wouldn't listen to that crap. Likewise, if you don't like anything listed below don't freakin' bother! In any case...
__________________Dire Straits - Money for Nothing (song) Hands down the first thing to listen to in my opinion. Absolutely amazing intro along with a great mix of drums and guitar throughout. Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms (Song & Album) This is the CD Money for nothing is on, while that song is great for testing I think the Brothers in Arms is one of the most beautiful songs ever performed and the whole CD is pretty solid. Godsmack - The Other Side (Album) Acoustic version of 'classic' Godsmack tunes. They sound much better this way in my opinion. Simon & Garfunkel - Mrs. Robinson, The Only Living Boy in New York (Songs) Great songs where you really hear voices more than the music in the background. Megadeath - Symphony of Destruction (Song) Metallica - One, Enter Sandman (Songs) Excellent rock with a lot of sounds going on together - you'll notice weaknesses in lesser headsets/speakers here. System of a Down - Lonely Day, Lost in Hollywood, ATWA, Roulette (Songs from various albums) Surprisingly SOAD has won awards for the quality of their recordings, Toxcity in particular took a handful. These are some of my favorite songs, again a bit more acoustic stuff but some heavier bits mixed in. All their albums are good though, if you like them anyway. And of course "The White Album" is mandatory.

When I first got my Logitech X-230 (Yea I know) I thought they were the coolest coming from my laptop's speakers. The song I blasted that had awesome bass and awesome other parts imo was Many Men- 50 cent, this was around 3 years ago that I did this but from what I remember, It was a good song. Not sure if the bass is better than king kong or fat joe songs but I liked it.
