Which of these cans would you recommend for the price?

Thanks in advanced

Edit: forgot for what, for games and metal/rock fairly loud, bass needs to be good, but need to be able to hear lyrics and voice still that wouldn't really bother people on a plane with them sorta loud, but keep my ears not to hot.

the hd212, all the others are open so will leak most of the sound.

I mean not bugging other passengers isn't necessary, I'll just keep the music / video quieter.

The problem with that is open cans leak sound in aswell as leaking sound out, so on a plane, you may not be able to use them at anything other than loud - which is also not good for your ears.

Going beyond the fact that it's not good for my ears, which is the best for games (shooting and racing) and music (metal and rock) at reasonably loud volumes?

My wife has the 201's and I have been thoroughly impressed with them, especially for the price. I hear the 202's have much more bass than the 201's so for what you are looking for, I would say the 202's are probably your best bang for the buck.

The best kind of headphones for gaming are opened ones. They give you much better sound stage than that of closed ones so you can hear where your opponents are much better. If you were looking for headphones for gaming, I highly suggest you check out the last two, moreso the HD435. Sennheiser's higher number models tend to be better than the lower ones.

Now if you were looking for more bass, then the lower models should suit you fine. Closed headphones tend to have better bass.

So it's really more of a question of do you listen to music more or do you game more.
