Well that's good haha. Thanks! I've never bothered to mess with EQ's before, not knowing how exactly to tweak them. I guess it's a good thing now .

Tell your bro to put the volume down. Gees, even for open cans, they shouldn't leak that much.

Speaking of open cans, how much DO they normally leak/let sound in? I mean, I would only be using them to listen to music later at night, when I can no longer have my speakers at a decent volume without disturbing my family.

I would also like to bring the new cans I purchase to college with me, would open cans leak too much and disturb my roomate if he needs quiet? Thanks.

Same with the SR60's and SR60i's. Is there a difference in the models?

Just a marketing trick I believe. Newer, but the same it's weird...

Welcome aboard, I can answer anything you like.

Well depends on the sound chip too. Their diff ones on the comps. Or maybe a loose or bad connection which I doubt...

Thanks for the info Blank! Okay, so pretty much whichever I can find cheaper (if I go with the Grado's)? Or should I stick to the original SR60/SR80's?

Okay. I looked at some of the reviews though, and they don't seem too promising. I'll keep looking around for IEM's within the ~$50 or so range, but thanks for the input.
