hi
__________________i just uninstalled windows xp and then reinstalled it but the problem is when i try play a music file it says, "Windows media player cannot play the file becuase there is a problem with your sound device.there might not be a sound device installed on your computer , it might be in use by anther program,or it might not be functioning properly" how can i fix this?

Check the device manager see if there's a yellow question mark if there is uninstall the drivers use driversweeper in safemode completely remove all traces shut down your computer reseat the sound card (which means take it out and put it back in make sure its in properly) then boot up reinstall the drivers and see if the issue persists.
