Default Center Speaker for z-5500 not working

Okay, for some reason, i stopped getting sound out of my z-5500 and I was assuming it was because of the sound card because sometimes it doesn't output sound. I reseated my x-fi, reinstalled the drivers, and it works again. But this time, the center speaker for the z-5500 does not have any sound coming out of it. I tried the sound test on the x-fi, it comes out of the sub. I have it hooked up 6ch direct going from the monitor plug left ot right - orange, black, green. Help? I just got the z-5500 about 3 days ago.

Did you set all the software to the correct settings? Maybe there was an option you left unchecked?

Did you uninstall the sound drivers that you may have loaded when installing your mobo drivers ( on board )?They may be the cause.
