Default Logitech G51 5.1 surround sound not working question

I have logitech G51 speakers and realtek drivers. And when i turn on the gaming or music mode sounds comes through my speakers. When i turn the gaming of music mode off no sound comes through my side speakers. Plus when I unplug my black and orange speaker wires I still get music through the side speakers with gaming mode or music mode on but with either of them off I only get sound through my two front speakers.
Does anyone know what wrong?

well on my z5500's i must set the speakers themselfs on the control panel to six channel mode, then inside windows set it to 5.1mode - otherwise my speakers do the SAME thing.

After unintslling my drivers like 5 and reinstalling and rolling back I finnally got it to work but then. I clicked something and the computer restarted and now its not working again. So I think I know what I have to do now.
