hey everyone. I have dual XFX 9800gt's. and i know that they support HDCP, so i can watch blu-ray movies and stuff in 1080p. These cards do not have HDMI ports on them so i contacted XFX and they sent me a DVI-HDMI adaptor. The card doesn't support audio so they sent me an Spdif connect to got from the motherboard to the card. I got everything all setup and i was tickled pink to try it on my TV. I plugged everything in and i get video, but no audio. So is it a problem with the card's drivers or my sound card? I have an integrated realtek, it sees the SPdif connection. Do I just need need to enable audio in the Realtek control panel or is it something i did wrong in terms of connection? thanks

Right click the volume icon and go to playback devices. Make sure HDMI audio is your default device.

I would start by checking your sound settings, often times you need to set HDMI audio to default in order get it to kick over. Most of my experience with this stems from laptops, I have no idea about how to identify a problem with the connection between the motherboard and the GPU. I wonder if it could be something with the Dual 9800s? Probably not though.
