Creative X-Fi Problems
I just rearranged my room (including my computer). When I turned my computer back on to listen to some music and game a little, no sound would come through. I thought it may be that the onboard audio somehow ended up back on, but nope. I tried reseating my sound card but that didn't work either.
When I try to open up the creative console manager it says that there are no supported audio devices. Any ideas?

Have you tried shutting down the computer, powering off the power supply, and then moving the card to another slot?

i haven't tried powering off the psu, but i will try that now. I can't move it to a diff slot, there aren't any open

It will fit in any PCIe slot, even an x16. Try that just to see if it works. I'm assuming it's not a PCI version.

it is the pci version. I powered off completely and it did not work. I tried doing another reseat on it. I got it working though. I forgot how finicky this card was for me lol. thanks for the help maximus
