Default Recommend me a headset!

I'm in the market for a headset and have no idea what to grab. They're all the same to me aside from looks and prices. What I'm wanting is something like this: http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/he...d50/index.html Must be headphones with a mic, full ear coverage, and produce quality sound. Winner will be which ever is suggested the most! GO!

Headsets as such are terribly over-rated and expensive.

I'd get a pair of ATH-AD700s and a Zalman Clip-on mic for gaming, personally.

You might want to get the AD700s from America, they get them for like $84.

If that's too much for you, then I'd get the Sennheiser HD202s with a Zalman Clip-on mic instead.

Thinking about this a little more... if I'm able to only hear people talking through the headset while my games come through my speakers then I don't really care about the sound quality.

Yep that's what I did and I love it (AD-700 + Zalman Clip On Mic).

Best Cans you can get for the money IMO. Add a Zalman clip that has already mentioned and you have a great setup.
