Default $250 Budget For Headphones. HELP

All right, so I finally have cash in hand, $250, dedicated just for headphones. I've been waiting for this for over a year now. Originally I wanted the Audio-Technica AD700's, but I really don't know if that'll satiate my audiophiliac desires.

What I want: I want to hear everything, and I want things to sound full, rich, a lot of details, no distortion. I listen to a lot of ambient, down-tempo, acoustic, IDM, electronica, bluegrass, blues, rock, alternative, psychedelic trance, etc. My musical tastes are very, very broad, but what I can generalize is that most of it is not bass driven. I don't need a good THUMP. What I do want, though, is to retain a really rich, smooth bass that still fills your body. More important, though, are details, clarity, retaining mids and highs, and I'm a fan of a wide sound stage. I also don't prefer the idea of a tinny sound.

Now I really, really do not want an amp. I don't have the money for that, and I'm not willing to spend money on that right now. So a low impedance is, for the most part, necessary. Being low impedance, it would be nice if I could get phones that doubled as both home listening and mobile listening, but this isn't completely necessary. My choices were the Audio-Technica Esw9a's and the Ultrasone hfi-780's, because of their size, but I'd totally rock a honkin' huge pair anytime. Comfort > utility > > > looks.

Any suggestions?

Hmm, I may hunt for them, but Headroom says something particularly disconcerting. "Despite the AH-D2000's seemingly efficient low impedance rating of only 25 ohms, it is not a particularly sensitive headphone so there's no question it will demand a terrific headphone amp behind it to hear what it can truly accomplish, otherwise it may tend to sound flat and lifeless from portable audio sources especially."
