Your case does not have a cable? The case should have a cable that should connect to some pins on the back of the card.

It does but the cable doesn't fit. Unless I am just really doing something wrong. Anyone else with the Xtrememusic X-Fi and an Antec 900 feel free to school me. I am not above thinking I am just doing something wrong.

You'll have to buy the creative front panel for front panel audio.
The jack won't fit the sound card and this was done intentionally to get more money out of you.

The cable coming from the front panel audio on my Antec 900 is uhh...I don't remember what it says on it to be honest. Not in front of it at work about an hour and half for a get home to check. I don't know the name on it but I know the connector on the end for it does not fit my Xtrememusic.

Should be the SPDIF on the back, assuming this is your card: ![]() edit: Maybe you could take a picture of the connector for us, though I assume it is the standard plug.

That looks slightly different than mine. I am trying to remember from memory but I think I don't have the SPDIF now if I do I will feel like an idiot in my old age my memory isn't all that. I will check again in a little over an hour and see. Also that is an Xtremegamer I have an Xtrememusic. When I was buying a card at the time a friend told me the sound was better on the music and the label on the gamer version was just if you wanted the free games that came with it.
