Yes! DSOM was ripped from a master recording vinyl by a friend of mine. It's ripped from the 3rd play using the following equipment:

Sony PS-LX350H > Audio-Technica CN5625AL > Shibata Elliptical Diamond Stylus > Yamaha

RX-V1000 > SB Audigy 2 > Soundbooth CS4 24bit/96khz > FLAC 8

Look at the thing!

It brings the magic of the vinyl onto the computer... every sound is there and you can just feel the difference!

The other file I downloaded from the Linn website. They sell albums in digital studio quality, (24bit/192Khz!) That one is simply amazing but it doesn't have magical vinyl quality

I just got Eric Clapton's Reptile in 24bits... it sounds incredulous I can't say there is much difference if you're using headphones but with the full range of good speakers the difference is clearly audible!

I was under the impression that ASIO4ALL resamples to 44.1kHz.

EDIT:

After looking it up - it seems that I'm a noob, so ignore the above

It can if you select it to resample something slightly below 48kHz.
