Default Zune 30GB

The 30GB Zune that is factory refurbished/recertified is currently only $120 on newegg.ca, with free shipping and a free $55 car charger/fm transmitter. It looks like a great deal and I might ask my dad for it. Any thoughts please?

This is the 2nd-Gen Zune, yeah? Sounds like a great deal, I'd go for it, if I weren't saving for a Zune HD.

Yes, mostly music. Perhaps some video. I'm not interested in apps enough to buy a portable device solely for it. GB range - 8gb if it's a really good player, otherwise 16+

The original 30gb Zune had a quite nice headphone out. Something to consider if you have nice headphones but dont want to carry a portable amp.

The Zune HD 16GB can be had for $220 USD, and probably cheaper if you look for a good deal.

Otherwise, try and get your hands on the Cowon D2+. It's brick of a versatile music player that supports just about every media format known to man. Cheap, touchscreen, and expandable SD storage. It's perfect if you don't mind a rather clunky GUI and just want something to use for music.

Would you advise buying it for $120? Even though it can be had for cheaper on ebay? Keep in mind the $120 Zune on newegg comes with a $55 car pack for free, too. Hmm

The Zune HD isn't available in Canada, unfortunately. The Cowon D2+ I was somewhat considering. It's only $170 for the 16gb.
