Default The coolest little speaker ever!

I work at an electronics store and today we got this neat little speaker in our shipment. I might upload some videos later for you guys on how it works but i'll just describe it now. It's simply amazing!

I'm not quite sure of the name but it's a very small cylinder type speaker, with silver rings on it. It's about half the size of a pop can. I plugged it into my iPhone and started to play a song, honestly it sounds SOOO bad, the sound was worse then the speaker on my phone! but heres where it get's interesting. When you happen to set down the speaker on any flat surface, It MAJORLY amplifies the sound and adds a INSANE level of bass for the speaker size, it's so cool! You can also put it against a window and It'll play the music through the window to the other side and it sounds just as clear as if you were in the room.

It's hard to explain, At first when my friend was telling me about it I wasn't too impressed but it's one of those things that you need to see, truely neat.

Anyone know what this process is called?

No, These are a good brand, I believe Paradigm? They make great systems! I'll have to confirm this though.
