Neither idea worked.
Moving the serial cable does nothing, and I dont have that same control pad. Look at the control pad in these pics: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836121120

Well. I just moved my computer to a completely different circut of the house then my speakers. There is no way the interfearance is going through the AC outlets.
The interfearance is somehow getting transfered through the audio cables: The buzzing only happens when the cables are plugged in and since the computer and the speakers are on a different circut now, that is the only thing connecting them together. But I am truely out of ideas, other then my sound card is going bad.

Do you mean the cables from the card to the sub?

Yea i Guess.
It goes [Computer] -> [Control Unit] -> [Sub/Amp] The buzzing is there when my audio cables from my computer to my control unit are plugged in, even if the volume is all the way down. As soon as I unplug all of my audio cables, the buzzing stops.

bud...it's internal electro magnetic interference...nothing to do with your controll unit or the wires (unless they are slightly undone, in which case...plug them in or replace them)
The only way to fix this is to move your audio card away from the video card and the NB/SB. If you really want to get rid of it...get an external USB sound card...they suck power from your proc, but it's more clarity for you! I have similar issues too...it might also be the amp for the speakers. Depending on how it works, if the amp runs at full blast with a variable pre amp (a little technical I know), then that would result in a constant sound eminating from the speakers, and wouldn't depend on the computer at all. Tests: plus the speakers into something else...ipod, cd player, home theatre system. if none of that noise occurs...it's EM interference in the computer, and you know the solution. if buzzing still occurs, it's the amp of the speakers in which case you'll want to RMA. But since you hear more buzzing when you move the mouse, it's probably internal interference. Move the cards apart and make sure any audio cables inside your computer aren't crossing any power cords. This will help. PS - Sorry for the long post...but are you using front or rear outputs for your soundcard?

Just a question here, but are your Audio settings set for analog or digital? I have seen some wierd errors with the audio set to digital. Try switching it.
