It's a good idea though. The exterior is nice and thick so it stands up to the elements really well.

Yep you cant go wrong with them, just today I saw a 25m cord for 14 bucks(Aussie dollar) . Now that is cheap for good quality cabling. Hack the plugs off and you are away. I have them running to my outside bar, and to get the length just plug another one in!! Just dont put it in the wall socket.
