Default Windows media & Realplayer Sound Card Problem

Right last night after playing MOH Pacific Assault i went to go and put on the tunes, but oh no, Windows Media Player comes up saying, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." Ok so i tried using realplayer, but that came up with "a general error as occured". So i tried it through Itunes and Cooledit Pro. Both play all my tunes without a hitch.

I reinstalled the audio drivers and still i get the same problem. Wat is going on as it cnt be my sound card?

Cheers

Try rebooting, maybe MOH didnt fully unload from your RAM or something, I know BF2 does that to me all the time

I had the same problem after playing UT2004 last week and I had to physically take out the sound card from the computer, put it back in and then install drivers

EDIT: sorry, that was a dumb idea since you have onboard you can't really take it out now can you
