While this is true (the human ear can hear 20hz-20,000hz), in my physics class (juniors/seniors in high school so pretty young), the highest anyone could hear was 16,000hz. Most people by age 20 can't hear over 15,000hz.

Still a great guide and that doesn't change much about it, just wanted to point it out.
When I was a high school sophomore, I could hear up to 19,000 Hz
