Clean Up The Forums

Im going through pages and pages looking at threads from 05 and 06, these forums need to be cleaned up their is way to much threads and posts on here. I dont know if anyone else is noticing but the forums are acting quite sluggish, does anyone else notice this or agree with me?

The old threads probably have zero effect on the speed of the site.

OCN has allways been a kinda slow site , probably due to all the ads , but ive been here on 50Meg/sec cable and it is still a bit sluggish. it seems like one of those things... deal with it

A big part of a forum is to build an archive of questions and answers for anyone who has similar questions in the future. Not everyone is on cutting edge gear, so the older stuff does still have some value. There have recently been some major hardware upgrades on the site, and all of the reports I've heard from the tech staff is that things are working very well. Overall performance, of course, depends on everything between the user's computer and our servers, and most of that hardware is very much out of our control.
