Default Add ability to mark thread as resolved.

That way when you have your answer you can mark it that way people dont spend 20 minutes writing a needless reply.

This is a pretty decent idea.....HOWEVER:

The extra "needless" replies can still be useful information. It may not actually benefit the original poster, but somebody might do a search for the same issue, and that particular "needless reply" might actually happen to help them out!

So with that being said, I'd have to personally argue against this suggestion. I'm not saying its a bad one...just saying that this is a forum, so extra answers can still be helpful .

There is always the option of tagging it as "[fixed] [resolved]" etc...

I do that to my threads if they apply it.
