Default Mobile version of OCN

Sometimes i like to check OCN. Although you wouldn't notice on PC, OCN uses allot of memory. It is also hard to render. If we had a more light weight, smaller (resolution) version it would definitely help a lot of users out. Its a large request, but it is only a request after all.

It could be very helpful for some people. But they'll have to be quite a bit of demand for it for them to make another, lighter version. It may also hurt the server to have more "skins". Or it might help it because it will likely be sending less data to people using the skin.

For all we know the new layout may help this.

Same here for my PSP. I like to check the top new post for anything interesting than head down to the for sale section. But I have to wait awhile for the whole thing to load.

Diffirent skins for OCN would be nice as well. Like what Neowin has, that would be cool.

I'm talking about dumbing down features like the thread tools menu. The PSP can't render it so i have to click it and wait for it to load a separate page from which i subscribe to the thread then go back to the thread loading an extra page. If they made a version with say sig rigs off, thread options being regular buttons, a smaller horizontal format, shrinked avatars, and so on, it would definitely help. Plus it could mean less bandwidth used on OCN's bill at the end of the month without hurting user experience.
