Why do we have to talk about our realted intrests 100% of the time? Its not like all I think about all day long is computers, but it is something major in my life, and I would like to talk to people with that same intrest, but that doesnt mean I dont care who they are, or their other respective intrests. Thats why we have groups and an off topic section. If you dont care who these people are and not want to get to know them that is your choice, but a forum is a gathering place to discuss and meet, not just give information to people who to you dont matter.

I didn't expect there to be any conflict over this.

Apparently mrtn feels differently, but I always enjoy my time on a forum more when I recognize other posters for things other than what kind of graphics card they have.

While we're at it, why not turn OCN into a dating service?
