Fan upgrade - Page 2

I agree with ehume. Replacing your fans will not get your temps down enough. Bite the bullet and get a good new cooler (my choice is obvious..lol) It's a pain I know pulling the mobo out and all but while your at it give everything a good clean and maybe tidy up your cables. It'll be worth the effort in the long run.

Indeed you do have your specs up now. Too bad Antec did you a disservice and painted you into a corner. That case is good for only top exhaust, not top intake. Well, you could do top intake, but it would be back loaded. Antec cases tend to be stupid that way.

You ought to be able to put any full tower heatsink in there, from a 212+ to a Silver Arrow or D14. An Archon won't fit, though.

I saw that C1E was disabled and cpu was constantly running at 3800mhz. Ive since enabled C1E and now at idle my cpu rests at 1600mhz and temps are in the mid 20s. is this ok?

That's what it is supposed to do.
