Rear + Center Speakers?

Hey, I'm looking to go 5.1 and add some rears and a center. Right now I have two Cerwin Vega LS10's and a Technics reciver with 100watts a channel. Also, a Klipsch Sub12.

I have my employee discount a bestbuy, so I'm hoping to shop there exclusively.

I was looking at getting the Klipsch C20
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...558ee88f76en02

and the Klipsch B20's
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...33af9cbffeen02

I can get them both for around $280. How well with they mix with my current tower speakers? I know my current speakers are more loud and bassy than being crystal clear.. But a lot of the time these are just party speakers anyways. I just don't want these sounding weird with what I have right now.

Id imagine it would all sound ok probably better than what you have now, cant you sell the Cerwins and get matching Klipsch fronts? Then it'd all match up properly....

Probably wouldn't get too much for them, and it's too much of a hassle to do so.

if your front three don't match it can be pretty weird/disconcerting on movies and the like

Yeah, that's what I'm concerned about. :S I guess I can always take them back. I think the center will be fine, but I have no idea what the B20's sound like.

Ended up buying them, $960 in savings.

They sound amazing! Maybe it's because of my small room that everything mixes in nicely, I'm not sure. Definitely going to keep them, and I'm definitely happy I purchased them. I almost don't even need my sub now for music.

Maybe if you think you almost dont need your sub, its because you dont need THAT SUB!
