Where is a nice place to start my voltages at?

I am at 3.6GHz right now on my 965 BE, and I have always been on Auto voltage in my BIOS. I heard Auto forces too many volts in. Where is a nice place to start my voltage at 3.6GHz since I have absolutely no idea how voltage works since it has always been on Auto.

Find out the stock voltage and keep it there manually as you raise the frequency until it becomes necessary to bump it up. Clock, bump, clock, bump until you hit your max safe voltage or temp.

How do I find the stock voltage?

Its 1.3 volts for that processor. I can get up to 3755Mhz without an increase in voltage. Just look up your proccessor online and you should be able to find it quite easily. Max safe without watercooling is about 1.48, prehaps 1.5. but that all depends on your temps
