Oh, you mean how they allowed Hyper-pi to use 8 threads instead of 4?

Nevermind the fact that potential "FLOPs" aren't a good indicator of actual performance. The 5770 has almost 50% more FLOP potential than a 460, but which is superior?
So where is the 460 in these tests? You think the HD3000 has anything on the 6620? The 1090T against a i7-920, clock for clock, had 25% greater integer performance then Intel. But the i7 was faster in every day tasks, your point?

If they really had something to show, we would have seen it, it would have been in vegas, and I'm sure there would have been techno music playing.
I'd have to agree. AMD has been very "in-your-face" every time they've had the lead. Even if their performance was only equal to SB but cheaper, they'd be showing it off. There's only ~2 months 'til launch. I think they're in trouble which is why I went for an SB rig.

It's only healthy competition.

Well, you don't work for intel .

You would've owned a better rig.

Sure, competition would be nice, it'd be a win-win, I just don't think AMD can pull it off ATM.

So even if he's a janitor at Intel he should have a 990x and quad SLI? You know what they say about assumptions...
No, i do not know what they say about assumptions.

And yes, even a janitor has to have a 990x as intel can't make chips if it isn't as clean as possible. Even near the entrance.

I just love this logic.

And AMD is not allowed to change their strategy ever. Changes up top have something to do with it, maybe??

I was just about to say the same haha.

As for the leak. Maybe its true maybe its not, but im not going to believe it until i see concrete benchmarks from a rock solid source.

I said the same thing when SB was hyped through the roof!
