As to my friends graphic cards, they the 460 is far more advanced compared to theirs. The 9800 is the highest one of my friends have.

Please fill out your system specs through that link I provided you.

There are many different factors to consider, plus all your parts are at stock.

Your friends could be playing at a much lower resolution for instance.

Memory is the weakest part in Your system. But try to do as I said, uninstall drivers of your GPU, use DriverSweeper to clean any garbage that left in your system after uninstalling GPU drivers and install the new one.

I presume you havent disabled physx in the Vantage run too in which case the CPU score is cack.

I presume reinstalling the Nvidia drivers fully will sort this out

8GB of DDR3 1600 cas 9 is the weakest part of his system?

Meh.

According to the web and other people on OCN FSX is very cpu depended.

It probably only uses 1 or 2 threads (its old) so your x6 is operating at 1/3 power or less.

Try this:

Quote:
FSX SP1 addressed the multi-core issue. There is a fsx.cfg file tweak to set multi-core for FSX operation:

[JOBSCHEDULER]
AffinityMask=n

n= # of Cores

1 = 1 core 0001
3 = 2 cores 0011
7 = 3 cores 0111
15 = 4 cores 1111

Just edit your fsx.cfg file and add the JOBSCHEDULER command line and change the n to the appropriate number for the amount of cores your CPU has.
Let us know if that helps at all. You should try to up your cpunb a bit, but you're on the stock HSF so be sure to monitor your cpu temps if you do any overclocking.

Where did you saw 8GB? Because in sys specs I see 2GB of memory.

Also I have almost the same GPU score in Vantage with my GTX260 Lightning which i'm using for PhysX and i'm getting much better fps in games than You if i switch the cards on my mobo. So as i said it can be drivers of Your GPU.
