1090t slow gaming performance - Page 5

no problem. Though to lets yous know... the 18fps is with lots of addon scenery and payware aircraft (VC view) ... if you play flight sim, here is what addons im using to get those frames:

Uk2000 Heathrow
Wilco a320
REX
FSGlobal
FSTexture Enhancer

Though 18fps is still dreadfully low

FSX will happily hoover up all cores, so a Core i7 or Phenom ii x6 is the best for that game.

Also, get that 1090t to 4 Ghz, put 1.45v on CPU Vcore, raise CPU NB to 2600 at raise volts of CPU-NB to 1.35, since raising NB will add about 10% more performance to a 4 Ghz overclock than it would be if it was just overclocking CPU alone.

CPU performance for 3600mhz is same as mine, now video card is definitely a different story, but skimming through threads you seem to have that figured out. A 460 should get much better scores.

Well after going back and looking at my old scores with my GTX 460 and 1090T maybe they are about right. An OC'ed GTX 460 seems to score about 6k-7k lower then a 5870 OC.

I would like to see his gpu usage chart.

Edit: His gpu score is fine, its a stock 460.

Yeah I was hitting close to 15k with a 460 but that was at 4.0-4.2ghz on the cpu and the 460 overclocked, so his vantage scores are fine. Maybe he is just hitting parts of that game that are too much for the card. Some cards handle graphics differently.

Maybe my post is a waste of space but don't listen to this guy unless you have an aftermarket CPU heatsink or cooling solution. He didn't look at your rig setup to see you are still using the stock heatsink. Please don't overclock with a voltage increase, your temps will get way too high.

Close, you need to click settings, then click the monitoring tab, then you should see GPU USAGE, go ahead and click it. Once its checked off, drag it to the top so its the first thing being graphed in your chart.

Once you've done that load up the game and play for a few minutes something you'd normally do then post the screen shot just like you did there showing gpu usage.

Edit: Visual Aid

oh yea, definitely do not oc it until you have a decent aftermarket cooler, just forgot to see that you only have stock cooler. But i think you can still oc it on stock volts up to like, 3.5 Ghz?
