It seems Your GPU is not 100% used o.O But it should be with X6. I don't know I've never played FSX so I don't know how it's GPU dependant...

Just need to bump up your GPU settings. The GTX 460 didnt get all that attention months ago because it was a great card at stock. It got the rave reviews because it OC's well.

If you want to get to the root of problem you need to run the game you have FPS issues with and at the spots of the game you have those issues with then look at GPU usage. FS2004 will probably not tax many GPU's.

But even on stock he should get much higher FPS than that.

Guys-hold on a minute. There is no way that processor is not fast enough stock to run that game, overclocking will do very little. You say you have a 1 TB HDD,which one?If you are running a WD Green or something similar as an OS .....The HDD is going to be the bottleneck in this configuration.

Your GPU seems to be downclocking itself to a lower power power state.

You are getting really bad gpu usage, which is reasonable considering your low fps.

Now what we need to figure out is what is causing it.

Since at this point we've isolated the issue to the gpu getting horrible usage to the point of it downclock itself I would recommend taking this new information you've learned to the nvidia gpu section.

http://overclock.net/nvidia/

Show them that graph and explain you've already used driver sweeper.

Cgo, if your core temps are reading 0*c, that means some "power-saving" ala performance crunching "features" are enabled on your motherboard. The 0*c is the result (typically) of the core unlocker feature of the motherboard.

If you're running at 3.6ghz stock, that means 3 cores have been disabled and the other 3 have been "turbo OCed" or w.e by AMD's/Mobo's features to give more speed. You can disable that and set a standard OC across the board on all your cores.

In addition, has anyone else checked to see if the cool'n'quiet stuff was still turned on in his motherboard? I just thread through the thread and didn't see anything of it but I just want to make sure. Aside from Balla's fix with multi-core use on FSX you might want to check these other suggestions to help performance a little and just tidy up system settings.
