All those numbers are horrible..All triple A games aren't selling well..With those Low numbers I wouldn't release Sales Figures either. PC SALES on steam aren't doing that well not compared to lucrative console market. I like how a lot of deep deep inside believe games on Steam are Selling millions. If they were Crysis 2 dev would have done something about the PC version, DA 2 would have a been a better pc game. Cod would still be lead pc. Lets just hope Battlefield Sell at least 3+ million on pc so PC gaming can actually get some GOOD Games not $10 Magicka or w/e

well here is the thing. Steam is only 1 online distributor. We have dozens more that sell online versions also. Then we have Retailers selling physical products.

Retail purchases still sell more than digital at this point, but every year it shifts to more and more digital.

If you want to compare this to something, then compare steam sales to 1 stores sales like target or something, then you will be like omg, console sales are so low.

Its amazing how many people here cant understand that. Best buy, amazon, wal-mart, they all sell more than steam does.

Not for PC. There was an article not too long ago about how PC games sell more digital copies of games than they do physical.

thats US only, not worldwide. worldwide sales pc is still favoring physical products.

ask how man aussies use steam, or the many nations with data caps still in place.

155k pre-orders of portal 2 in Q1.

That's just testament to how good the first one was.

I am surprised Homefront did so well, and I am also surprised that MW2 is on that list..

I think retail and Digital sales are probably about the same. But heres the thing.. 100k more or less.. Doesn't even make a huge difference. Basically what id like to see is PC games sales pick up to point where they are 30 - 40% of whats gets sold of Multiplatform Triple A titles.

Also the reason HomeFront Sold well compared to other titles on steam is because BashandSlash site (biggest PC competitive Fps coverage site) covered the game indepth and had developers come on their podcast give some support to the pc community. Also there are no other PC shooters out and people are still looking for the COD 4 replacement for Competition.

There are more people playing MW 2 then Blackops.. People just hyped about Blackops for just Dedicated servers.. which in my mind changed nothing for the community. The game in my opinion sucked more then MW 2 because it 80% mw and 20% blackops... Same **** agian..and not only that graphics are worse.. Only weapons people used = ak74/45/mp5 and Light machine guns.. Game takes to skills = BORING. Mw2 had better weapons variety good party system.. Decent maps and graphics and MOST OF all THE Game ran smooth for people LESSER lag on P2p LOLz
