[Cnet] Sony: PSN Personal info compromised - Page 11

As I've said before. The fact that Sony can't secure your credit card and personal information is NO BIG DEAL. NOBODY CAN. All have been hacked dozens of times.
It's just never been talked about.

2/3rds of the systems out there can't pass a security audit. It's an old boys club if one of them can't figure out how to do something. NONE OF THEM CAN.
The Secret Service which guards 'The Dollar' and all it's minions get 1 week of training.

All this is because the financial industry is going to blow up. They think if they can spin it as a "fire sale" type deal from die hard 4 then it will hide what happened.
This is where we are.

It doesn't matter because it's sweet justice.

Precisely why I never have, and never will buy anything that says sony.
This is the same company that distributed rootkits via audio CDs a few years back

Im glad we have so many immature members on this site that think this is a great and funny thing that happened to Sony....

Fact is, Sony did the right thing by trying to fight piracy and modding. The PS3 is Sony's property and they do have a copyright on it. People need to understand they can't just do what they want all the time.

I don't see people throwing fits when Gigabyte won't except their RMA because they modified thier GPU with a pencil mod. Same thing applies.

Yep, because Sony's got attacked means that they won't make another PlayStation. You called it Corky, like always.

Too bad Anon isn't in on this. And if they were, which they aren't, they wouldn't be selling people's personal info. Anonymous is on the good side 99.99% of the time.

Now stop pulling random **** out of your ass and get your information straight.

So, DDOSing a company is a good thing? Im pretty sure when they lose money, we, the consumer, lose money.
