i think part of it is that i am a graphic designer irl so i am on a computer all day at work
Eh, you know you can plug up a PC into the TV, right?

And there's wireless recievers for Xbox 360 controllers, and LOTs of modern games on Steam (Crysis 2, Unreal Engine 3 games, even Toki Tori) supports x360 controllers natively.

So you can have a console experience out of a PC while enjoying the higher fidelity that comes with the PC.

(ok, AND a wireless keyboard+mouse) or you can use Xpadder to use your controller to control the cursor on the screen.

7. When will service be restored?
We have a clear path to have PlayStation Network and Qriocity systems back online, and expect to restore some services within a week.

We will keep the service down to allow us to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure smooth operation of our network services when they return; we are working hard to resume the services as soon as we can be reasonably assured our security concerns have been addressed.

Just in case anybody wants to know what's fact and not opinion.

^ "Some services within a week." Probably online play only since it doesn't involve much personal information. The PSN store probably needs a huge overhaul.

Just in case anybody wants to know what's fact and not opinion.

yes, vaguely worded answers and facts that cannot be backed up are really to be taken seriously. Esp when it comes from a corporation.

That post is the equivalent to Apple saying its location tracking was a bug.

Hey hey HEY...

Apple claims their original iPhone blueprints state that the location tracking was supposed to work a certain way, and it hasn't been, so it technically is true if they have dated concept blueprints that prove it is just not working as intended. (Rolleyes @ Apple, not you)
