I suppose at least they're offering the unlocked SB procs at their MSRP.

+1

I've always said, PC gaming expresses individuality and people can choose whatever parts they want without being scorned for it. Don't call other people PCs inferior because you have more money or knowledge than them.

Exactly. They'll learn in the end. We all have to start somewhere.

Yep. That's were I started, surfing ibuypower and CyberPower. I slowly started to learn what was needed to built a proper PC. Then I came to the forums and gained the true knowledge of how to build a fast PC at an affordable price. Eventually, most PC gamers/builders make their way to the forums. I didn't know these types of forums existed two years ago. Joined Date: Apr 2009, I was a complete novice then, I've came a long way over the last two years.

It is interesting to see this partnership, I guess I will be seeing a lot more PCs from them around.
I'm guessing Cyberpower. I got my PC from them instead of building one because my dad offered to give me something like $200 to help if I got a prebuilt and the Cyberpower version was barely more than the parts on Newegg.

It's so powerful and everything is so fast!" Then I ask them what the specs are and they would answer, "oh...ummmm, its an iBuypower PC so its supposed to be good! Especially since it has glowing lights and stuff and I can see the software or hardware inside the CPU and stuff" I would be so pissed and I would reply, "Firstly, its called a tower and not a CPU, secondly, **** and **** you wasted your money because you dont even know how powerful your PC is and you are an ignorant fool."

point is I really dont care if the gaming market is focusing on the consoles more than PC but rather the fact that I wanted to play PC games and I wanted to play them maxed out, so I took the time outta my summer and free time and actually LEARN how to put a PC together even though its not that hard now. People shouldnt be buying things they dont completely understand.

TL;DR - I HATE PREBUILTS AND THE DUMMIES THAT BUY THEM.

/rant rage furious end whatever -____-
So, how is your prebuilt car working for you? Or your prebuilt house?

Glad to see they went with a decent brand.

I've never owned an iBuyPower PC personally, but I've visited their facility and talked to a their engineers. They seem to know what they were about.

Exactly, My step father builds houses for a living, does he build his own house? no, does he work on his own house, yes. People need to stop hating on pre-builts. ibutpower is not that bad. Hell there prices on adding GPU's and CPU's is not that far off from newegg and the fact that you can have it built for you is a HUGE plus to alot of people. Dam kids on overclock.net that have everything given to them in life are ruining overclock.net for the rest of us with there idiotic beliefs of everything in live is inferior to me. Its BS and when you grow up you will learn it.

Should we really label people that build/put together PCs as engineers?
