So I'm at a point where I need to choose what to do. I have basically three choices of rad combination (price is a restriction). I want you to tell me which one is the most worth it. The loop will be cooling the cpu and gpu in my sig rig. I want everything to fit in my case so these are my ONLY options.

XSPC Rasa RS240 kit (+gpu block) w/ or without push pull (tell me what ya think about it...) I live in Canada so 143.99$ off Dazmode + shipping.

XSPC Rasa RS240 kit + RS120 rad (+gpu block) once again w/ or without push pull, is it really worth the extra money spent on extra fans? 191.97$ (including fan for 120mm rad)

XSPC Rasa RX240 kit (+gpu block) and once again w/ or without push pull. 174.99$ off Dazmode. Will require a little case mod but that's no biggie...

Thanks in advance!

Most likely the 120.3 worth of RS rad will cool better than 120.2 worth of RX rad. The RX is better but not 50% better. My concern would be flow. The XSPC 750 pump has the max pumping power that approximates a D5 on level 3 if you look at the PSI. Good luck. smile.gif

Oops, didn't finish did I? I think the fans in the XSPC kit are 1700 rpm so those do better in push. You could add shrouds or pull fans if your temps were not adequate.

Thanks for the answer. Since price is a major factor in my decision I was wondering if the RX240 would also perform well (since it's nearly 20$ cheaper than option 2 and also I have less stuff to buy (clamps and barbs...and fans...)). Would I be able to cool adequately my system using a RX240 with a push only configuration? I find my cpu temps OK right now so I don't mind if I don't see any improvement on the cpu side, all I want is better temps on the gpu side.

Thanks for the replies. +rep wink.gif

Totally agree with this, couldn't have said it better.

To elaborate on this, I think the RS240 + RS120 will be best bang for the buck, however you could cool your system with the RX240, your temps may be a few degrees higher though.

For the RX240 I would definitely be looking at push pull for that.

And before anybody says "that's enough rad anyway" in my experience, it isn't if you have warm ambients.

It depends on what speed fans you use. At around 2k rpm the rx and rs series perform nearly identically.

rx series radiators will be slightly better, just slightly, in this case with those fans. Whether the cost is worth it is up to you.
