Should I buy this ssd?

I've been out of the SSD scene for about a year. I was pretty disappointed with my last one, a kingston indillix drive with super slow 4k random read/writes. I hear that the sandforce is a solid controller, but then there's also intel and these C300's that appear to be insanely popular. Any thoughts on this drive?

Yea thats not bad since the 60gb goes for that much. Also its a very fast drive, mime keeps a pretty stable 225mb read and write speed

Ask how old it is. If it's older, it's a stellar deal as OCZ's drives are now a lesser nm; decreasing speeds.

Still, good deal.

Go, go, go.

The ad links to an Agility 2, not that it matters, but you're paying $40 more for 30GB. I would just get the 60GB or wait.

I wouldn't touch it if it was one of the 25nm versions (sold since February). Not only are they drastically slower in read/write performance. But the write cycles are only roughly 2/3's the rated amount (3k vs. the original spec 32nm @ 5K). Not that OCZ differentiates them in any way from the 32nm model. Same packaging, same spec sheet, same model numbers. Seriously false advertising.

I just refused shipment on a Vertex 2 for those very reasons. I found out after I'd purchased. :/
