Thread Starter
I currently have a phenom ii x4 840, and has a mobo with hypertransport 1.0 ans im thinking is it worth it to upgrade to a mobo with HT 3.0 and would there be a large performanvce gain?

There would be no performance gain. HTT 3.0 is needed only in multiprocessor environments, otherwise 1.0 has enough bandwidth for a single processor.
