Cheapest/smallest Setup to run COD4 + Source

Thread Starter
As title says, really.

Been to the i41 and i42 LANs with my team, going to i43 and probably the next ones in the future.

Lugging my sig rig 100 miles up the country and having to carry it around the venue is getting tiring and it's a pain due to the sheer size of it, so I'm looking to get a cheap mATX/ITX setup that'll be nice and easy!

It'd only really be used for COD4 (must be able to run 125 constant, 250 constant preferred, although my config isn't maxed)

I have two 8800GTX's here, I'm pretty sure one could easily max COD4, and I also have some DDR3, although it's quite overkill for a budget setup (1800@CAS7), I also have a spare HX650 in RMA.

Basically, I want the cheapest setup, minus GPU, PSU, and possibly the ram (include it anyway), that will max COD4, and things like Source games, L4D2, things like that, at 1080p.

Not looking to spend more than £100~ (RAM included), or £100 without, so I'm expecting to buy used.

tl;dr: cheapest Mobo, CPU and RAM that will run COD4, source, and a few others @ 250FPs constant @ 1080p, teamed with an 8800GTX.

Suggestions?

Id get any old 775. Cant really give specific chips since itll depend what you can get a deal on. Buy e series quad core 775 on a cheap mobo.
I think its cheaper for you to get cheap ddr2 with a cheap mobo then to get an expensive 775 mobo that runs ddr3. I dont think there are many cheap 775 mobos running ddr3.

Even cheaper e series cpu's should be fine though if e8400's are going for a lot.

edit* a single 8800gtx should be more then enough.
and sorry for the ****ty post. Taking a study break and dont feel like formatting or typing well

He wants to buy used... and he already has ddr3 ram. You can probably get ddr2 for next to nothing on craigslist. Atleast its dirtcheap over here.

I have spare DDR2, and DDR3.

I can get a Q6600 for £50, which seems overkill, I've been offered a great deal on a DFI Lanparty board, but it's full size ATX!

I can get a Zotac 775 board (mITX) from a friend in the USA (not in stock over here), for £80, then I could just put a dual core or something in it.

I was thinking an 8800GTX, but the case (some lian Li) I was planning to use is only 208mm long, 8800GTX is almost 300mm. Might just have to make a custom case or something, or get an 8600GT or similar.

With your 2711 or do they provide monitors?

My G80 8800GTS can max cod4 at 1680x1050.

Probably with a 1440 x 900 monitor, at the most, 1080p.

My old 9800gt handled cod4 maxed out easily. Source engine ran very easy on the card, no shutter or lag

fyi, anything over 60fps doesn't matter because your eye cant see more than 60 and monitor cant refresh more than 60 unless you have a 120 fps monitor. Your better off having V-sync on and have it at 60 so its fluid as possible without teer.
