crysis dx10 performance

i was testing some driver settings last week and when i switched to dx10 with the crysis benchmark the fps i get is the same for different resolutions...



as you can see i get the exact same fps with 1900x1200 as with 800x600, i think there is clearly something "limiting" the fps but cant figure out what causes that. anyone ever seen that strange behavior?

yeah some say, but wouldnt that also result in the same behavior in dx9?

can someone try this on his rig and see if he gets the same fps "lock" ?

turns out that the frame cap is caused by the postprocessing option, when i set it to high i get about 50fps:O
